I would like to acknowledge the Kunwinjku people who are the traditional custodians of this land.

I would also like to pay respect to the elders past and present of the Kunwinjku nation and extend that respect to other Aboriginal people present.

Nous avons passé le nouvel an en famille, en visite chez des amies qui travaillent au centre d'art Injalak et apprennent à tisser des paniers de feuilles avec des femmes. Nous avons mangé du requin et de la tortue d'eau douce et frotter nos aisselles avec du sable pour éloigner le Rainbow Serpent.

Family trip to Gunbalanya where we spent sometimes with freshwater mermaids women and our friends who live there, working at Injalak Art Center and learning how to weave the sun with pandanus leaves.
