Ce mois-ci est exceptionnel car nous recevons un invité international pour un mix 100% vinyles de sa collection personnelle ! Il s'agit du danois Nyboe, un crate digger spécialisé dans le hiphop, les samples en tous genres, les breaks et les rare grooves.

For this vinyl mix for Fine Cuts at Radio Campus Paris, Nyboe has created a mix of some of his favorite records from all around the world ranging from the 60’s to last year, focusing on old Library Music records, Jazz-Funk, Psychedelic Rock, Ethio-Jazz, Afro-Carribean, Cumbia, even some old pop songs and way more.

Being from Denmark, Nyboe also sprinkles some Danish tunes in among the 39 unique tracks selected for the mix. 7 songs to be exact, for example some hidden gems from some of Denmark’s biggest pop-groups from the 60’s and 70’s like Nina & Frederik, Shu-Bi-Dua and Shit & Chanel. The other Danish artists include jazz from Athletic Progression, Highlife / Afro-Funk from Addisabababand, Latin-Funk from Alex Puddu and Instrumental Hip Hop from Dafuniks.

Nyboe is a Danish hiphop Vinyl-DJ and cratedigger specializing in hiphop and everything sampled by or related to hiphop, breaks and rare grooves. Inspired by legends like J Rocc and Kon & Amir he tries to make a long journey through sound while also switching it up often enough to keep it interesting for the listener.

Apart from doing mixtapes and playing live, Nyboe also shows of his collection of vinyl on Instagram under @nyboesvinyler and has his own radio show about vinyl records and analogue music and his own podcast about music, hiphop, vinyl and everything in between.
