Le Président and Greg de Villanova return to their FM vinyl duel with full-length jazz tracks and their usual Parisian sniping. This set jumps from Grant Green’s hard bop charge on “Grantstand” to Miles Davis, Art Blakey and Bud Powell, then outwards to Charles Mingus, Toshiko Akiyoshi and Ornette Coleman. Expect bebop, spiritual jazz, Afro-Cuban percussion and a few standards, all argued over between grooves.

3. Conversation Piece - Shamek Farrah & Sonelius Smith
4. Fast Company - Don Sleet
